Everyone is welcome at Wiltshire Music Centre and we aim to be as accessible as possible

Visitors are encouraged to mention any accessibility requirements when booking tickets, ahead of their visit.

Accessible Seats

We aim to make the Centre accessible to everyone. There is step-free access to the majority of public spaces, including our front row seats in the auditorium.

To book accessible or front row seats, please contact the Box Office on 01225 860 100 (11am to 3pm Monday to Friday) or email boxoffice@wiltshiremusic.org.uk so we can ensure we can provide the best possible service for your visit.

Personal Assistant tickets

One complimentary Personal Assistant ticket is available to those registered disabled and requiring assistance to attend.

Frequently asked questions

Assistance dogs are welcome, although some may find certain concerts and events too loud. Signs are positioned throughout the building for Braille users.

The hard of hearing can use the MobileConnect Assistive Listening app to stream live audio content via WiFi in great quality, direct to any smart device. Please bring your device and headphones or ask at the Box Office to purchase headphones (cost £5) or borrow a neck loop if required. Two accessible toilet facilities are located in the Foyer, with a further facility backstage.

Large print versions of our Season brochures are available on request.

Wiltshire Music Centre welcomes children and families throughout the year. The site is accessible to pushchairs and baby changing facilities are available in the public toilets in our Foyer. Wiltshire Music Centre is proudly rated Fantastic for Families!

The Centre is fully accessible for wheelchair and mobility scooter users. The majority of public spaces are on one level apart from in the Foyer where a ramp is provided. The Centre has a wheelchair that can be used free of charge when you visit. Please contact our Box Office in advance of your visit.

Disabled spaces for blue badge holders are located in the Centre’s car park located off Churches on Winsley Road.

At a captioned performance the words are displayed on a screen (or screens), placed near the stage or in the set and can be seen at the same time as they are spoken or sung.

British Sign Language

These interpreters are normally positioned to the side of the stage. Stalls seats close to the signer are reserved for BSL users. Please book early and ask for these seats.

A Relaxed event is ideal for anyone who would benefit from a more informal approach to noise and movement in the space, or would feel more at ease knowing they could enter and exit freely.
