Joy, energy and knockout skills as our talented youth jazz orchestra works with inspirational composer and trombonist Raph Clarkson

For the best part of two decades trombonist, composer and arranger Raph Clarkson has been an integral part of the UK jazz scene, as a performer and educator.

Drawing on many genres, from jazz to progressive rock to classical music, Clarkson shares his adventurous and life-affirming works with our talented young jazz musicians. You will hear some of his own compositions arranged especially for WYJO, as well as his arrangements of tunes by jazz pioneer Duke Ellington and South African legend Louis Maholo.

This concert will also feature a spotlight performance from young talented players from Wiltshire Jazz Academy.

Prepare for joy, energy and knockout skills!
