CHEVALIER DE SAINT-GEORGES Symphony No 2 in D Major ‘L’Amant Anonyme’

HAYDN Symphony No 49 in F minor ‘La Passione’

HAYDN Symphony No 43 in E flat major ‘Mercury’

The OAE Experience Scheme gives gifted period instrument musicians the opportunity to work alongside OAE orchestral players. In this programme, the ensemble performs two symphonies from Haydn’s time at the Esterházy court where he delighted audiences and musicians alike. The programme opens with music from Chevalier de Saint-Georges, another remarkable musician of the 18th Century. The players will introduce their period instruments and the historical quirks that makes this unique musical world.

The Ann and Peter Law OAE Experience scheme is generously supported by The Hencoq Law Trust.
