GRACE WILLIAMS Penillion
RUTH GIPPS Horn Concerto
VAUGHAN WILLIAMS Symphony No 2 ‘A London Symphony’

Bath Symphony Orchestra is delighted to feature works by two female composers – Penillion by Welsh composer Grace Williams and Ruth Gipps’ Horn Concerto, showcasing talented young horn player Annemarie Federle. Both composers were taught by Ralph Vaughan Williams, and the orchestra conclude their programme with his atmospheric London Symphony.
