A Celebration of the South-West coast with folk supergroup and best-selling author
As part of ECO:FEST – our mini festival of music and creative activity delivered in partnership with Climate Friendly Bradford on Avon – we’re delighted that the evening’s entertainment features a special concert by folk supergroup Gigspanner and renowned writer Raynor Winn.
The Gigspanner Big Band is a collective of some of the biggest names on the folk-roots scene and Raynor Winn is the best-selling author of The Salt Path. She’ll be performing new compositions alongside the band that seamlessly combine with folk songs of love, loss and the natural world. The vibrant and thought-provoking pieces have been especially written for this show, and artfully wrapped around songs and tunes gathered from the collections of Cecil Sharp and Sabine Baring-Gould.
ECO:FEST is a mini festival of music and creative activity delivered in partnership with Climate Friendly Bradford on Avon. Learn more about what’s going on in our local community and opportunities to get involved through a rich programme of performances, talks, activities and films and an evening concert. At the heart of this festival is a shared interest in reducing our environmental impact. You can standalone day (£5) or night (£27) tickets, or buy both for £30.
