Rossini’s Le rendez-vous de chasse opens with a flourish on natural horns. Schubert’s glowing masterpiece Nachtgesang im Walde is at the heart of the concert. Solos for horn and for baritone, a group of Czech pieces and two rousing opera choruses complete the programme.
