A one-day, indoor Winter festival celebrating community spirit and joyful music
Banish your January blues with our one-day, indoor Winter get-together celebrating community spirit and joyful music. Packed with music, activities, food, dancing and more, this is the ultimate feel-good festival that you just can’t miss.
Activities include:
- Five indoor performance stages with original folk, rock, jazz and acoustic music
- Open Mic slot (1.45pm -3pm) – please apply to take part here
- Poetry session hosted by Dawn Gorman
- Exploring Songwriting with Phil Cooper
- Wassail workshop followed by Kids’ Parade leading into the foyer with morris dancing by Holt Morris
- Evening folk jam – The Transatlantic Sessions
- Family-friendly daytime with workshops, choirs, morris dancing, our big Wassail and children’s procession
- Creative zone with a craft session making folk-inspired wands and headbands between 11am – 3pm
- Little People Chill Zone & Nursing Area (11am – 3pm) – a quiet space for babies, toddlers and their grown-ups
- Food and drink from Meraki and Oak Oven Pizza
- Beer from Kettlesmith’s and cider from Honey’s
- A circus skills workshop from SASS Circus
- Ceilidh Workshops (2 x 40 mins workshops)
- Junk Percussion workshops (2 x 40 mins workshops)
- Mini Maker’s Market on the Mezzanine
- And much more!
Choose from an All Day ticket (11am – 10.30pm) or an Evening Session ticket (7pm – 10.30pm)
One free U12 ticket with every full paying adult day or evening session (£25 or £12)
The Transatlantic Sessions take place in the evening only.
